What to Expect

Open Door Community Church has a relaxed and down to earth feel. The church is made up of all sorts of different people who are at different points on their spiritual journey. Some are just looking into faith and spirituality, others have been following Jesus for many years. You can expect to be welcomed and respected regardless of your views or background. You are welcome to just sit and listen or you might want to participate more actively in the service. No two services are the same but they often involve:

• A message or sermon that is relevant and engaging.
• We sing worship songs that allow us to focus on God and honor Him.
• Public and Personal Prayer. We take time corporately to engage in prayer and in quiet reflection.
• We believe God gives gifts to people for the building up of the body of Christ. This includes gifts of healing (physical, emotional, spiritual), prophesy, knowledge, wisdom, miracles (1 Cor 12).
